I have been coming here for years. It's the definition of a "hole in the wall" but authentic delicious and affordable Chinese food. They have a big menu with lot's too choose from and indulge in. The staff is very friendly and I come from the valley at least twice a month to come eat here. I will always support local businesses ran by honest people and delicious food.

This is definitely my most favorite ... a best kept secret in old L.A. Chinatown. I've been visiting here since my high school days 40 years ago, and it has never let me down - even though it has changed its name a few times.

Excellent and authentic Chinese food. Got the braised green beans, orange peel chicken, and chicken porridge. Food is very affordable. Service is typical of immigrant owned restaurants. I never expect 5 star service when I eat at authentic places like this.

As of 10/28/2018, they still do accept credit cards.

I got a General Tso's Chicken to-go. More like Fried Gristle with a side of Sweet and Sour.

The name is distracting, not sure where the bistro came from. I was excited to have some Chinese bbq and it looked decent when the food arrived but tasting it was quite lackluster and not what I would expect from a restaurant. I would have to say the taste reminded me of something I would make at home. Over boiled shoyu chicken and roast park that looked the part but tasted far from it. Best part would be the baby bokchoy. My friend had the scallops and vegetables which he said tasted like the scallops sat out of the fridge too long. Not sure if I would come back though with all the other restaurants close by.
